We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a reliable expert for our home improvement. We signed up and advertised our needs, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you believe Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to leave you stranded. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will lift a finger.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible helpline that's about as incompetent as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like pulling teeth.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right thing by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so reliable with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and provided a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to resolve the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.

My story with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I hired a trader through their service to carry out some crucial home repairs. They appeared reliable at first, but it resulted in a terrible ordeal.
